Norfolk Southern 7319

$350.00

Introducing our Railhead Locomotive Art Piece inspired by Norfolk Southern Unit 7319. This handcrafted piece captures the rich story of NS 7319, a locomotive with a unique journey across the railroad industry. Originally built as an EMD SD9043AC for Union Pacific, 7319 started its life in the iconic yellow and gray UP livery. Later acquired by Norfolk Southern, it was rebuilt as an SD70ACU, featuring enhanced reliability and performance, and was repainted into the striking black Norfolk Southern scheme with the famous "Horsehead" logo.

In recent years, Norfolk Southern sold 7319 to Progress Rail, where it began a new chapter in its life. This transition reflects the ever-evolving landscape of the rail industry, where locomotives are repurposed and reimagined to meet new needs.

Each of our Railheads is carefully crafted from layers of 1/8" MDF, laser-cut for precision, and hand-assembled to capture the distinctive features of NS 7319. The piece is meticulously hand-painted to reflect the bold Norfolk Southern livery, and includes working lights for an added touch of realism that makes this locomotive truly stand out.

Perfect for railroad enthusiasts and collectors, this Norfolk Southern 7319 Railhead art piece is more than just decor—it’s a tribute to the life of a locomotive that has served multiple railroads and adapted over time. Bring a piece of railroading history into your space with this handcrafted artwork, celebrating the legacy of a locomotive that has seen many phases and continues its journey.
